COVID-19 Updates: June 1st, 2020

Adding Extra Infection Control Precautions

As always, our operating protocols go above and beyond what the state & federal agencies mandate. We are doing everything we can to ensure the health and safety of your family, our team, and our community at large, as we return to caring for your children in these unprecedented times.

Here are a few necessary changes we have implemented until we make it to the other side.

  • We are limiting the number of patients that we schedule and are staggering appointments. This will minimize the number of people in the office at the same time to maintain social distancing among patients and to give us time to thoroughly disinfect between patients.

  • Patients will be pre-screened for COVID-related symptoms, and again screen upon arrival at our office.

  • Only the child with an appointment and ONE parent/legal guardian will be allowed to accompany them. Anyone else will be asked to wait outside the office.

  • All accompanying adults must wear a mask or face covering. We do NOT have enough masks to provide these, so it is imperative that you arrive at the office wearing your own, or you will not be allowed to enter the office. (Remember mask wearing in public is recommended by national and local health authorities!)

  • We are asking you to wait in your car until we are ready. Text us @ 484-265-9365 when you arrive and we will let you know when you can bring your child in.

  • We will take you and your child’s temperature upon arrival.

  • All toys, iPads, superhero capes, reading materials, and other hard-to-clean accessory items have been removed so please bring your child’s iPad or favorite toy with them.

We understand if some of you aren’t yet feeling ready to come see us at this time; that’s okay! Everyone’s comfort level is different. Please stay safe and give us a call when you are more comfortable.

If you have an appointment and wish to reschedule, we ask you to notify us ahead of time (at least 48 hours). Our availability is more limited than normal, so this will allow someone else’s child to receive the care that they need.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our new safety guidelines. We have missed y’all and are looking forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

Dr. Okoh and the Farm Park Team
